Lewis Floyd Henry: Music Maverick

Dave Simpson from the Guardian did a little round up of music’s mavericks found today; naming Lewis Floyd Henry as one of them.

Simpson tells us that in “a special impromptu appearance for the Guardian, [Lewis Floyd Henry] rattles off his cheeky remodel of Billy Idol’s White Wedding – which he dedicates to “William and Kate” – before council officials threaten to call the police. Within moments, the man in black has shoved the amp into a pram and high-tailed it down the street with £6.60 takings from a few minutes work.”

Lewis Floyd Henry – a man of musical wit and action.

He is something to see. The suit, the tie, the unmistakeable afro, amp and pram. If you haven’t spotted him around Brick Lane – you will. And if you fancy seeing him perform in a walled environment – catch him 11th August with none other than Joe Driscoll accompanying him for a night of musical mayhem from a recognised maverick.
